The client is currently pregnant and has requested assistance with a full-size crib mattress (one that converts to toddler, if possible) and sheets in preparation for her baby’s arrival. She is a devoted mother to her 6-year-old daughter and also has an adult son. With her extended family living in Haiti, she does not have local family support and has connected with our center to build community and receive encouragement during this season.
She has been faithfully attending weekly classes and is committed to growing as a mother and providing stability for her children. Receiving a crib mattress and sheets would help ensure her newborn has a safe and comfortable place to sleep, easing some of the financial strain she is facing and allowing her to focus on caring for her family.
