This kinship request is made with the intent to preserve the kinship placement of an 11-month-old boy who has been sheltered with non-relative caregivers a few months ago. At this time, the caregivers are needing assistance in securing a few items to continue the stability of this placement while they await approval for their funding. The caregiver is needing 3 baby gates as the little man is beginning to walk and getting around pretty fast, 12–18-month clothes as he is quickly growing and pampers size 5 and wipes. These items would greatly lift a weight off the caregivers’ shoulders as they are working hard to get their feet underneath them. The caregivers are on a fixed income, but are also very proud and did not wish to ask for a lot.
