We are working with a family who is in need of support. The participant is a single mother caring for four children under the age of 18, along with her 18-year-old daughter. She is currently unemployed but has been actively and consistently seeking employment in order to better provide for her family.
At this time, the family is in urgent need of basic household items. The 4-year-old child is currently sharing a bed with the mother due to limited resources and is in need of his own twin-size bed to ensure proper safety and comfort. The mother also shared that her current bed is in poor condition and sits very low to the ground, making it difficult for her to get in and out of bed comfortably. She is in need of a queen-size mattress and bed frame.
In addition, the household is in need of pots, pans, and basic cooking utensils. With limited supplies, items are frequently misplaced or accidentally discarded and replacing them has been a challenge due to financial constraints.
Assistance with a bed for the child, a suitable bed for the mother, and essential kitchen items would make a meaningful difference in improving the family’s daily living conditions and overall well-being.
