The veteran currently has an open case with DCF however, no assistance is available for lawn maintenance.
The veteran is requesting assistance with mowing his front lawn. Although he owns a lawn mower, neither he nor anyone else in the household is physically able to operate it or complete the work.
Providing this service will help maintain a safe and healthy living environment by preventing overgrown grass and improving the appearance and accessibility of the property. Once this need is met, the veteran and his household will no longer have to worry about managing a task they are physically unable to perform, allowing them to remain safely in their home.
