This grandfather continues to care for his six young grandchildren and will start receiving caregiver benefits next month but can still use help with some items to continue to meet the needs of the six children. At this time, the youngest child (6 months old) is still in a bassinet and they can use a compact (smaller) crib for him to sleep in. The children can all use clothes in the following sizes:
7 year old boy: Pants 6-7, shirts 7. Children’s shoes size 5-6 (he really needs new shoes). The 2 year old girl can use clothes and shoes: 4T-5T and toddler shoes 7-8.
Two other girls can use the following: 6T and size 7 shoes.
