We are currently working with a participant who is leaving an unhealthy home situation with her child and has had to leave behind her vehicle and housing. She is temporarily staying with a friend while working toward becoming financially independent. She plans to begin earning income through DoorDash or other employment opportunities.
The participant is requesting transportation assistance in the form of a bus pass or Uber gift card to help her travel to necessary appointments, employment opportunities, and other essential destinations as she works toward stability.
Any assistance with transportation would be greatly appreciated and would help support the participant as she works toward becoming self-sufficient and creating a more stable situation for herself and her child.
