This request is made with the intent to preserve the kinship placement of a 7-year-old little girl who has been recently placed with her aunt. While the aunt has been shifting around her life to accommodate this new responsibility, she is simultaneously juggling unexpected financial hardship. Though the home has the peace and emotional stability the youth needs, the caregiver is having a hard time with securing a few essential items so that the youth may have her own space. At this time, the caregiver is needing our assistance in a twin bed, box spring and mattress, and if possible, barbie bed sheets! This is not a necessity, but the youth is a girly girl and would appreciate anything purple or pink. The dresser does not have to be new but if a color was needed, the youth would like either white or pink. The Walmart gift card is so that the child may have the freedom to choose clothes as she came to the home with a small bag and doesn’t have anything that fits appropriately.
