The wonderful non-relative caregiver accepted placement of an 11 year old male. The caregiver has two children of his own and the non-relative youth enjoys being in this placement. The caregiver is not receiving financial assistance just yet for the non-relative youth. The caregiver plans to take a trip to California for Thanksgiving and will have to purchase the non-relative youth’s plane ticket, which is a bit pricey. He has asked for some assistance obtaining warm clothing for the non-relative youth, for the trip, so he can be a part of what might be his first real vacation. I’d like to request a $120 gift card for the caregiver to purchase the warm clothing/jacket. We are thankful the youth will get this opportunity to travel with the family.
